Magic Eden Unveils Revolutionary Cross-Chain Wallet in Beta

Magic Eden has just announced the beta launch of its Magic Eden Wallet. The new digital wallet is designed to cater to the needs of Magic Eden users and enthusiasts of cross-chain NFT collecting. Currently, the wallet is in its beta version and is being made available to a limited group of early testers. Further details on the wallet's features and broader availability will be revealed as the testing phase progresses.

What is the Magic Eden Wallet?

The Magic Eden Wallet, currently in its beta phase, is described as a self-custodial wallet. This design allows users, upon full release, to have complete control over their crypto assets. A key feature planned for the wallet is the ability to facilitate cross-chain token swaps, which aims to enable transactions across various blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and Polygon.

For future iterations of the wallet, Magic Eden has outlined enhancements. These include developing a mobile app version, which would provide users with mobile access to the wallet's features. In addition, there is an intention to integrate fiat-to-crypto transaction capabilities within the wallet.

How to Access the Beta Version of the Magic Eden Wallet?

The beta version of the Magic Eden Wallet is currently available to a select group of early testers. Those interested in participating in this phase can join the waiting list by downloading the web browser extension, as detailed in the official announcement. For those eager to get involved sooner, there's an option to reach out directly to the lead developer on Twitter and inquire about joining the program.

Magic Eden's New Partnership with Yuga Labs

Earlier this month, Magic Eden revealed a collaboration with Yuga Labs - the company behind the popular Bored Apes Yacht Club NFT collection. Aimed for release by year's end, this partnership focuses on establishing a new Ethereum-based NFT marketplace. Unique in its approach, this marketplace is set to recognize creator royalties for all Ethereum NFT collections.
